About Us

The Homeless Awareness Project is a nonprofit organization incorporated under the Department of State of the State of Pennsylvania.

We are dedicated to increasing public awareness of the lives of the homeless. We do so by interviewing the homeless and publishing our results on this website.

We also publish the creative work of the homeless and formerly homeless.

In short, we seek to reintroduce the human element to an issue that is all too often discussed in abstract, statistical terms.
